Kul'Asad was born Primai Asad in Imperial Meztli about 60 BC. Trained as a mage, he rose to power as the Court Mage to Emperor Mez'tla IV in 20 BC. When the Cataclysm War began, he turned his coat and went over to the forces of chaos, quickly rising to power as one of the commanding generals due to his mastery of Concept Summoning. His area of responsibility was the Northern Legion that swept from the Iron Dominions towards Godsfall and was supposed to rendezvous at the Pactum battlefield for the final battle.

He, along with most of his army and his enslaved concept Broken Causality, were trapped in Godsfall by the desperate ritual. The backlash from this acted as a quasi-concept bomb, taking him and his army out of time for a hundred years and slowing time. Thus, when the Godsfall Champions arrived, only 80 years had passed for the residents, and even less for Kul'Asad.

Temporal Plots

Kul'Asad believed that via the power of the concept he (partially) controlled, he could re-write history by interfering at specific points. This control of history would allow him to become the emperor of some new empire. He used these temporal shenanigans to make contact with the Imperial Sons and align them to his service.

When he became aware of the Champions' attempt to interfere, he went back in time and influenced the destruction of Usko Ffyd via the Sons in an attempt to kill Quickleaf and Saeth Saren. Of course this backfired and led to them becoming adventurers and thus to interfering, showing that time-meddling never has good results.

Downfall

Main Article: Godsfall Liberation (Campaign)

The Godsfall Champions, investigating the city, made contact with Broken Causality, who warned them that Kul'Asad was causing issues. They investigated and ended up defeating him, shooting him down as he tried to flee his tower after they humiliated him.
