Post 251 AC

Although he has been dethroned and can no longer act as a true god, his religious organizations are still fairly strong, especially in the Holy Kaelthian Republic. The other Successor States have mostly abandoned him once his plans were revealed.

Time of Troubles

Loran Hae, acting as Shadowed Sun, was destroyed utterly by the Ruin Raiders and the Oblivion Gate at Rage End Crater at the heart of the Dead Plateau on 6 Spring Dying 254 AC. Neither soul nor Name remains.

Historical

Domain

Harvest. Agriculture. The Moon. Night. Contracts. Knowledge, Nature

A male half-elf (lightly pointed ears and slight elven features, dark hair), wearing simple clothes. He bears a sickle in one hand and a sheaf of grain in the other.

Companions/Demigods

Sheaf-binder Caleb, Thresher Cain

Note: Neither of the demigods managed to retain their divine status in the aftermath of his fall in 251 AC.

Worship in Western Noefra

250 and before

Worshiped as part of the Seasonal Four among wall-builders, especially by middle-age men and halflings. Offerings involve first-fruits of the harvest, presented to the priest for his blessing and then eaten as part of a festival. Clergy often solemnize marriages and contracts. A common expression in the Sea of Grass region is “sure as the sun in shadow”, meaning certain to occur. Worshiped in Wyrmhold, where the contractual precepts are de-emphasized and the hard work precepts are emphasized.

Religious Precepts

You reap what you sow. In hard work is salvation. Carefully prepare for the upcoming winter. Those that will not work, cannot eat. Make bargains carefully, because you will be judged for failing to follow through. Conformity and consensus are critical.

Worship in Other Areas

  • Ikela: Worship was significant as part of the CCU, but worship quickly shifted to his successor.

Divine Rank

Until 1 Spring Dawning 251 AC, he was a member of the Congregation. On that day, he was deposed for violations of the Law of Divinity (direct intervention with mortals, being defeated in his mortal-plane avatar form). Since then, he has subsisted on residual worship as one of the Ascended Heroes.
