Summary
Landing on the western shores of Noefra, the party is captured and sentenced to the arena. From there, they are recruited by the imperial mage, later to become Kul'Asad, for a suicide mission to recover the "Book of Demons", an artifact said to contain the true names of many demons, currently being held by the people of Nocthis. They are teleported to a smaller city, recently captured by the forces of Imperial Meztli, where they help the fugitive prince escape to the north. They travel with him, slaying a dragon on the way (which act lays the groundwork for Xol'cerd's hatred of the dragonborn, as the young dragon was her brother). They also meet a mage whose tower returned after the War of Souls. He later went on to free the Nameless and become that being's host during the Cataclysm War.
Arriving in Hammerhead, they make their way toward the Nocthean Caldera, where they are captured and the truth is revealed--the "Book of Demons" is an unholy writ, being held safe from Kul'Asad and his demon-summoning ways by the wardens of Nocthis. They are exiled through a portal to Tal Elamor.
