Torvald'vel'Orobas

Father of Azhtar Caivalur and grandfather of Ahzekiel Caivalur. Originally a deva of the Angelic Host specializing in understanding the awakener, he fell due to his love for a mortal (Azhtar's mother). He since joined House Orobas and has the rank of specialist within that house.

Dealings with Mortals

• He assisted the Dimwit Syndicate in freeing his beloved from Awakener possession as well as provided the angel-made weapon that allowed them to free the shard of the Third Moon from Awakener influence.
• He and his son attempted to penetrate Mt. Fearg into Lyo Duo in search of Awakener presence, but fled from the awakened Bloodstorm.
• He gave Tsun Azur a tour of Shadow, showing her the conditions in the "afterlife". His reasons for doing this are unclear, but it is believed that he was working under divine orders of some sort.
• He "happened" to be nearby when Enigma fell into Shadow after defeating the Sleeper and guided them out.
• He has acted as Sakara's agent in providing material support (in the form of divinely-marked gold coins) to the reconstruction effort at the Cherry Blossom Temple
• He delivered another angelic weapon to Enigma to allow them to enter the Gemheart mindspace inside of the Heart of Iska kel Pana.
• He led a contingent of angels to rescue Enigma as they fell after the collapse of Lyo Duo.
