Zadok of Bran Vras

Septarch of the Bran Vras (magpie) sept of the Cysgoroesi, Zadok is Jael of Myji's co-conspirator and close ally. An aging cysgor, he is known for his arcane power and his knowledge of ancient artifacts.

Appearance

A wizened, almost skeletal man, Zadok is not pleasant to look on. Large splotches of discolored skin cover his face and hands; he mostly keeps himself covered by a hooded robe. When he walks, it's with a limp and one shoulder is higher than the other. It's said that his physical state is payment for his intense magical power.

Capabilities

Zadok is an archmage-class arcanist, specializing in divination. Beyond that, he wields the center piece of the Ebony Rod, and unlike Jael is more than willing to employ its powers. Zadok goes nowhere without an escort of elite Shadesteel Guardians.

Politics

Zadok is an open Expansionist, but says very little in council meetings. He prefers to work in the shadows and through others.
