Points of Interest
- Militia HQ and training. Also barracks, armory, and prisoner holding.
- Temple of the Moons. Dedicated to Nocthis and the Church of Night Reborn.
- Guild House. Home of all the Registered Companies delegations in the area. Also home of the Sages presence in the southern Nocthian Caldera.
- Main Markets. Indoor/outdoor market stalls, containing local production, imported goods (mostly up from Byssia), and other such items.
- Sinestras House. Daria Sinestras is the head of Cultural Affairs, a quasi-governmental organization dedicated to preservation and restoration of the Caldera's history and culture. CA wields outsized influence despite having no legal authority.
- Red Moon Inn. Main inn for caldera-born folks.
- Barking Dog Tavern. Notable for being a hive of scum, villainy, and some really good food.
- Ipelos House. Alessan Ipelos is noveau riche and wants to be taken very seriously. He's an avid, although not particularly discerning, collector of antiquities. He and Daria Sinestras Do Not get along.
- Andros House. Kalvin Andros's grandfather was one of the first group to clear the Tunnel of the Ancestors. And his family has made their profits ever since maintaining and facilitating merchant trade along that route.
- Caldera Mining Company. One of the major exports of the New Nocthia area down into Byssia proper is iron and steel from the mines to the west near the Oronar border. And the CMC controls most of those mines. Run by an oddity, a single dwarf female who claims no clan affiliation. Her name is Xela.
- Ancestors Approach Warehouses. Also stables, cart repair, and sundry outfitters. Owned by the Andros family.
- Lily Inn. The primary inn for travelers from Byssia.
