Born on the islands of the Gap-tooth Bay to a group of tribals only loosely affiliated with Byssia, he was exiled from his tribe after his connection to Selesurala was discovered in early adulthood. Saved by the goddess's intervention (or so he believes), he wandered until deciding to take up adventuring and joining up with the Wild Cards.

Killed by a mkhulu in 211 AC in what is now Zhapai Karmap, he was resurrected by Dilligas Husty in 250 AC and has taken leadership of a small fleet of trading vessels in the Serpent Sea.
