Daughter Tree

An offshoot of the Mother Tree, formed when a hag satiates his or herself completely with their obsession and is ready to pass on. Instead, the seed that replaced their heart sprouts and roots itself in the ground, trapping the hag's soul in a perpetual mockery of themselves, a living hell that seeks to grow itself a new Hagfen, while the soul remains conscious and (some say) knows the bitterness and futility of its obsession.

While powerful, Daughter Trees are much more vulnerable than their mother.

Notable Examples

The one notable Daughter Tree so far was encountered and destroyed by Ad Elementis in the abandoned dwarven city of Grimhold during the winter of 251 AC.
