Torpen Hill

A smaller village of about 150 people located north of the Shield River in the Lower Sea of Grass. Part of the Ungoverned Lands. Reliant on trade coming from the Lowbridge-Shield Ferry and entering the Great Loop, although the people are mostly self-sufficient for food. Almost entirely human in population.

For roughly 12 months it was under the de facto control of a trio of hags who had settled there in search of an ancient relic called the Hopeseed. They were defeated and killed by the Repotaters, who then retrieved the Hopeseed from its resting place in an ancient temple to one of the Old Gods, protected by fey. The village is still recovering, but hopes to participate in the new/upcoming trade route from Glass Junction down through the southern portion of the Great Loop to the Uulan Confederacy.

Time of Troubles

As of the 260 AC, Torpen Hill has joined Merrybranch in the Kingdom of Merrybranch, which has grown to dominate the north-eastern bank of the Shield River.
