The Vault Seekers, drawn by the lure of treasure, the mystery of the mysterium magicii, and guided by the duplicitous Rikhards Freiborgs, sought out the other orbs and entered the Vault of Kings. Cleansing the Awakener corruption at the heart, they engaged the self-destruct mechanism and escaped, leading the remaining uncorrupted peiriant gnomes, also known as mecha-gnomes to freedom and a new home in the Crisial Kingdom. They then turned the tables on Rikhards Freiborgs and his Imperial Sons goons, ending that threat.
