Coralweave

A silk-like textile made from the fibers of the underwater plant known as kelp-thistle, which is then alchemically treated. Known for being similar to a rough silk (roughly 19-25 Momme), but naturally waterproof. Unlike silk, its natural color is a reddish color (hence the name). In Ikela, it is produced primarily in the Kal'Mer region by the kalasaa and constitutes the major export of that area. It sells for about 15gp per yard (sold in 48" bolts) or 1500 gp per bolt (100 cloth yards). It takes enchantments related to water extremely well.
