Novaestium
A tower complex commonly known as the Tower of the Hawk, located in central-western Noefra, in the Central Plains a few dozen miles outside of Imperial Center. Built in the waning days of Tibor Imperia, it was home to a gwerin noble family, part of the legacy of the keepers of the mysterium magicii. In the chaos of the War of Souls, it was besieged by enemies. Those inside gave their lives to summon a Broken Concept to take the tower and its precious cargo (both one of the orbs as well as their children) out of time. There it remained until returning sometime around 249 AC. Unfortunately, the location now was in the depths of Lake Coy'in, burying the tower under several hundred feet of water. The presence of a lingering fragment of the Concept (Broken Memory) kept it protected from the environment, but wrapped in a time loop, filled by the echoes of the inhabitants in earlier days.
In 250 AC, the Vault Seekers investigated the wreckage in search of one of the mysterium magicii. After fighting through the tower and dancing with the ghosts of the past, they defeated the fragment, liberated the orb...and rescued about 20 surviving gwerin and human children who had been placed into stasis there at the base, the true treasures of the Tower. With the defeat of the Concept, the inrushing water soon made a graveyard of the tower in truth. Members of Imperial Legacy still brave the depths looking for relics of the past.
