Corruption in Kaelthia

The first adventure of the Catalysts in the broader world. Took place a few weeks after the Cleansing the Four Towers in mid-summer 205AC. Precipitated when news of their discoveries caused human-supremacist groups (primarily the Human League) to demand their arrest on spurious charges of demon-worship.

Events

1. Arrival of Alaina, one of the Scale-balancer paladins to arrest the party. Quickly nicknamed "Sparkles" for her dynamic hair coloring as an astral plane-touched. Party invokes their right to appeal to Ytra, requiring them to be returned to Kaelthia to stand trial before the goddess.
2. The trial was dramatic, resulting in the summoning of a possessing avatar of the goddess. Party is cleared of all charges and in fact commended.
3. While investigating the groups that led to their arrest (for revenge, if nothing else), they discovered that the Human League was being bankrolled by a merchant sub-guild that had gained substantial power very fast.
4. While investigating that, they discovered a secret underground base full of mercenaries and Human League goons. At the bottom of that, they discovered that the League (and the merchants) were being manipulated by shadowy forces from the south, in the supposedly destroyed Stone Throne. The merchant group loses substantial power, and a small shakeup of the administration discovers substantial political and economic corruption of many sorts.
5. They acquire Hound's Rest as a reward and clear out the oozes and other weird things inhabiting it, making the hound spirit very happy. They also discovered another Portal Network entrance.
